Children's Teeth – Don Mills
After six months following your child’s first set of teeth would be the ideal time for their first visit with the dentist. It will provide the dentist an opportunity to examine the child’s overall oral health and ensure the proper development of the mouth and teeth, assisting with ensuring they remain healthy and on-track.
To prevent problems such as baby bottle tooth decay, irritations from teething, gum disease, and prolonged thumb-sucking, our dentists are on-hand to recommend and provide if necessary, special measures of preventative care.
It’s never too early to start practicing good oral hygiene with your child – limit sugar intake and supervise your child when they brush their teeth to ensure they are using the proper methods.
